Disney adventures

Ack, I've left it so long again. I have no idea why I am so unmotivated to get writing. I've been writing posts in my head for months but never get around to typing them out. All I do is sit in front of a computer, so I have no idea why it's been so hard. I'm pretty much forcing myself to get writing today. I enjoy it, so I should write more.

I'm deep in hibernation mode at the moment. By the time I leave work it's already dark and all I want to do is curl up on the sofa, watch tv and look at the interwebs. I barely even cook properly anymore. It's just pasta, pasta and more pasta. It's too cold and miserable to to in the kitchen when there are blankets waiting for me on the sofa. There are so many things I need to get done but I'm getting nowhere. There's still a room of boxes that need sorting and my car needs washing but instead I'll take a nap and watch the soaps.

I have some stuff I'm super excited about but feel its a bit soon to get it written down here. (To future me: it all work out ok?) It's nice to have things to learn about that interest and excite me. And things that aren't all about Walt Disney World haha. Although I am enjoying reading up on new things in WDW and how much has changed since I was last there 10 years ago. I can't believe it has been so long!

We had a super nice time in Disney a few weeks back :) It was soooo cold. Last year we went at the same time and it was sunny and warm. This year we had to wear hats, scarves and gloves and we were still freezing. We were able to take our time a bit more this year and just go on the stuff we really wanted to instead of running from ride to ride. I don't know if it was the crappy weather and because we know the next time we queue for Dumbo we'll be in glorious sunshine, but we weren't as excited as last year. It was still awesome, but we didn't run around like sugar hyped loons. Saving our energy for Florida :D

It was Christmas there, which was one of the best things ever. Last year they started Christmas about two days after we left, so it was amazing to see it for real this year. There was a great big tree and they played crimbo tunes through the speakers. One of the coolest things was a mini parade with Santa and elves. They made it SNOW on the main street - only in Disney! An elf pointed at G with his beard and shouted 'Pere Noel!' It was awesome. Peter Pan also told G to shave. Turns out if you want character interaction during the parades - grow a beard! :)

Anywho, I'm off to finish up dinner. There's some vegan chilli in my slowcooker with my name on it.

Here's some pictures from Paris, I'll try and get back here soon.

Christmas!
